The Ex refers to campervans on the fleet that are older. Please expect a vehicle that is a bit worn around the edges and has a higher mileage. These vans are maintained to a high standard but are cheaper to hire. This is a manual camper.
This is a larger camper than the 1 and can seat 4 but only sleeps 2 in a large double bed.
The 2EX is the same as the 2 but is a manual camper and is older
This is an automatic camper for 3 people based on the Renault Traffic. Three share the large bed that converts from a seating area.
Sleeps 5 in this converted Renault Master. Three share the large bed converted from the seating area and above is a sleeping platform for two. The 3 EX is an older version.
Happy 4×4 for the more adventurous traveller who wants to get off the beaten track and explore the highlands. Wild camp as you are full self-sufficient with a cooker on board. There is a very efficient heater which is a must in Iceland. The 4x4 is very well insulated for travelling in the winter around the ring road.
Happy Camper 4x4 XL is a converted VW Crafter and can sleep 5 in two bunks. Great for groups of friends or a family wanting a bit more space and the 4x4 automatic option.
Happy 4x4 - 3 Pax is the ever-popular 4WD Automatic VW Transporter.
