What is the best time of year to go to Byron Bay?

Byron Bay has comfortable temperatures from September to November. This is the dry season, with the lowest rainfall of the year.

Byron Bay is warm all year round. Summer is between December and February and temperatures average around 27C (around 81F). There are often showers during the evenings. The sea is warm at this time of year. Byron Bay is at its busiest during summer as many Australians take their summer vacation at this time and the school holidays are also taken during Summer.
